Overview

Names Generator is an online service that offers free name generator tools in your browser. You do not need an account to use the site. We keep our own data collection to a minimum and only use what we need to operate and protect the service.

What we collect

Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure may create short-lived technical records needed for security and reliability, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of access. We keep that information only as long as needed for those purposes, then it is deleted or aggregated according to our providers’ normal practices.

The random names you generate are produced in your browser from data files we ship with the tools. We do not store those generated names on our servers as part of using the generators.

Google services

We may use Google services (for example Google Fonts, Analytics, or Tag Manager) to run or measure the site. If we do, Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to any information their products collect. You can read Google’s policies at policies.google.com/privacy.

Theme preference

If you use the light or dark theme toggle, your choice may be saved in localStorage on your device. That setting stays on your device and is not used to identify you on our side.
